Manpack Target Acquisition System Strateg 010 is a highly sophisticated measuring station which performs the following tasks:
- determination of own position
- target acquisition and target survey
- laying of weapon systems

FUNCTIONAL ASSEMBLIES
Strateg 010 consists of:
- a laser range finder (eye-safe) with integrated telescope
- an electronic goniometer (angle of elevation and azimuth)
- a display and control panel

Strateg 010 provides complete autonomy and fully day and night capability.
The eye-safe LASER RANGE FINDER works according to the impulse delay time procedure.

Eye safety is guaranteed by using the Raman principle converting the radiation of the pump laser of 1064nm which is not eye-safe into an eye-safe radiation with a wavelength of 1543nm.
